The kdbedit tool is a graphical administration tool for Elektra. Its functionality is very similar to the kdb, is intuitive and simple to use.

Currently you can use kdbedit to:

  • Browse the key tree
  • Create and delete keys and trees
  • Edit every aspect of a key
  • Export keys or entire trees to an XML file (backup)
  • Import entire keysets from an XML file (restore)

kdbedit can be downloaded from our download center.
