  • Reinsaat festival was a huge success.
    • 200 flyers were used.
    • Permaplant was shortly mentioned in a talk on stage.
    • Really crowded, lot of people.
  • Release last week with lots of bug fixes.
    • Big thanks to everyone.
  • Retrospective:
    • Most people are happy (sunny to partly cloudy) with the release
    • Some people wanted to get more done for the release
    • Lot of liked, learned and lacked
  • From Markus:
    • Give more feedback and questions on issues (description, comments)

  • News from infrastructure:
    • Docs will be back soon, Jenkins more complicated
    • Nextcloud gave us enterprise license for up to 20.000 users
  • Ines Talk: ESLINT, code quality
    • Use a max length of only 120 chars per line (in code and comments)
    • No magic numbers (only -1, 0, 1) all other numbers should be variables
    • Does CI fail on those warnings? -> Does not fail?
    • Further rules that may need to be added? To be investigated.
    • Improvements in code quality are important
  • Writing theses:
    • Ways of thinking: For different chapters different ways to think:
      • Introduction: Background of the thesis, research question, should motivate the reader.
      • Related work and background: Papers that help to solidify your work. Comperative analysis of others.
    • Find related work or phrases you used. Other may help already with the phrases you used not only the related work/papers.
